The Gold Coast is abundantly blessed with spectacular beaches and stunning landscape that truly embodies paradise on earth. It’s no surprise why so many people visit the Coast and be taken by its marvelous natural wonders. Aside from sparkling shores, Gold Coast is home to a number of national parks. At Surf Parade Resort, we invite everyone to explore the lush green tropical mountains wonderfully nestled within the region.

The staff at our Broadbeach family apartments have compiled a list of national parks you can find in and around our magnificent Gold Coast:

Lamington National Park

Just minutes away from our holiday accommodation Broadbeach, you’ll discover the scenic Lamington Park. The park offers holiday makers an exhilarating outdoor adventure as you walk through the paths that lead to crystal clear streams, to cascades and waterfalls, through wind eroded caves in volcanic ash, cliffs. You’ll be fascinated by fern filled gullies and mountain lookouts that provide an excellent view.

Tamborine National Park

Holiday makers can’t help but be enthralled by the picturesque setting of Tamborine National Park. Tamborine Mountain plateau looks down on the surrounding lowlands, across the Nerang and Coomera River valleys to the Gold Coast and Pacific Ocean to the east and over the beautiful Albert River valley and to the Great Dividing Range to the west. Tamborine National Park provides a walking track where you can view the spectacular Gold Coast skyline.

Burleigh Head National Park

Take a visit at the splendid Burleigh Headland National Park and you’ll discover the flourishing flora and fauna as you take a leisurely walk through the rainforest. Holiday guests at our Surfers Paradise accommodation in Gold Coast can have family picnics within the park. You can also see a number of endemic wildlife species that inhabit Burleigh Head National Park.

Springbrook National Park

Located at the Scenic Rim, Springbrook is among several parks found on a chain of mountains that stretched across the Queensland-New South Wales border. Visitors can take on a challenging trek as they walk through the tracks that will lead you to waterfalls, ancient forests and lookouts.
